Before merging with UPC, Sunrise had made significant progress, particularly in terms of its network and the expansion of its product portfolio. The company had successfully improved the quality of its services and introduced increasingly competitive offerings in the Swiss telecommunications market.

Overall, Sunrise remains a good company with attractive benefits and good working conditions. However, since 2023, the organization of the retail network in French-speaking Switzerland has changed, with management now appearing to be handled primarily by cross-border workers. I have also noticed that certain hiring and career advancements often occur within the same networks, which can sometimes give the impression that opportunities are more limited for other employees. Furthermore, certain sales approaches can come across as overly pushy. In Switzerland, however, customers generally prefer more measured and transparent advice, which can sometimes create a disconnect with their expectations. As a former Store Manager, I nevertheless wish the current teams and future employees every success.
