What works well?
Responsibilities are clearly defined, allowing employees to work within a structured framework while enjoying a high degree of autonomy in managing client requests and priorities. This trust placed in employees encourages initiative and operational efficiency. The overall work environment is very positive. The atmosphere within the teams is pleasant, colleagues are approachable and collaborative, and flexible work schedules contribute to a good work-life balance, even though there are sometimes busy periods when overtime is necessary.
What could be improved?
The position of Finance Business Analyst at Data Consulting S.A. offers an engaging and varied work environment. The assignments are diverse and provide opportunities to work with public sector clients on concrete and strategic issues. Having a solid background in accounting is a real asset in this role, as it enables you to quickly grasp clients’ challenges and effectively apply your professional skills in a functional and application-oriented context. The day-to-day work is rewarding and fosters gradual skill development, particularly through direct contact with clients and the variety of situations encountered. In the longer term, however, one concern is the risk of becoming overly specialized in a niche area, which can limit the expansion of one’s expertise over the years. Given the size of the company, opportunities for advancement within the company or role remain limited.

What works well?
Working for this company can be a good introduction to the world of IT service providers. It's an opportunity to gain initial experience, especially for those new to the industry. However, after two years or so, it's highly advisable to move on to the competition, in order to improve your project management skills, get better remuneration and work in a healthier environment. This experience also helps you learn what not to do in project management, which can be invaluable in avoiding the same mistakes in the future. The company's kitchen is a positive point, offering a pleasant space to work in.
What could be improved?
I'd like to share my experience, which I see is in agreement with many former employees. I was put under excessive pressure to post positive reviews online and to promote the company on LinkedIn, which I find invades employees' privacy and should be reconsidered. Workload management is problematic: there is no analysis of the actual capacity of resources versus the hours sold. This lack of planning creates situations where customers receive poor-quality work or have to wait for unacceptable deadlines. A simple assessment of available hours would reveal this obvious imbalance. Management remains rooted in obsolete practices, with a pyramid structure and often contradictory directives between technical and sales managers. The lack of managerial skills is flagrant, with management profiles too specialized for balanced team management. Salaries are well below the market average, and pay is deducted from the first day of sickness, which is unacceptable. Employee recognition is inadequate, with an internal climate that is often conflict-ridden, fuelled by top-down peddling practices. Despite discussions of teleworking during interviews, its implementation is virtually non-existent, reflecting a lack of trust in employees. Project management also leaves much to be desired, with frequent customer complaints about the quality of work and harsh criticism emailed throughout the company, including at weekends. I would like to see these points seriously addressed to improve company culture and customer relations, in order to create a more respectful and efficient working environment.
