When I see some of the comments, everything suggests that candidates or employees think that 1000chf bills fall from the sky in Geneva !!! Let me reassure you, no, not yet! We've been given an opportunity at GVD, and it's up to us to seize it! We've been hired as salespeople to make ... sales!!! and everything is done to ensure our success: free 6-day training, weekly workshops, daily coaching, support in the field from experienced colleagues and even the managers and trainers don't hesitate to come and help us with demonstrations! Everything is very clear from the 1st day of the job interview, we have no sales objective on our 1st meeting with our entourage... the only objective: to create our network thanks to their gift program! A rule they apply to the letter! As for the rest of my business, I've never known a company to be as present on a human level as it is on a professional one... you have to see it to believe it... Criticism on the networks... it's very easy... for me, it's simply people who didn't seize the opportunity and prefer to hide behind their incompetence and their lack of desire to work... At a time when finding a job is very complicated, GVD gives even beginners the chance to create a future for themselves over many years! The question is quickly answered: do you want to take it or not? As far as I'm concerned, the answer is without appeal: I'm starting to prove myself in the company and I hope to stay there for many more years!!!! So don't hesitate!!! A serious, dynamic company, the job interviews were fairly quick, and the training was very comprehensive, even for a beginner. It taught me a lot about sales, and now it's easier for me to get into more positions. The salaries are interesting for people who give themselves the means, and you can earn a lot of money.

Perhaps video rather than paper training materials for the first week.

I choose my working hours, and the hierarchy is available and attentive to my needs. I'm always supervised and helped to progress. A working atmosphere and a salary that I've never seen elsewhere. I highly recommend it.

Hard to find when you see the way they work and the way they sell.

We're sold a dream... until we discover the reality. After an interview and a long demonstration of a vacuum cleaner costing over 3500chf, we're told we'll have to use our own vehicle to go prospecting. We were told to start by selling to our friends and family "for practice", and then to create our own network from scratch. In short: no leads from the company, just find your own customers. No fixed salary, only commissions: if you don't sell, you earn nothing. More than a job, it's a way of selling an overpriced product by using new recruits as a free sales network. Be careful.

My experience with GVD Distribution left a very negative impression. During the 3-hour recruitment interview, we were given a lengthy presentation of their product, a supposedly revolutionary vacuum cleaner. However, the recruitment method and working conditions advertised were very different from reality. Despite an advertisement stating that no direct canvassing (door-to-door) would be necessary, and that customer appointments would be provided by the company, we were asked to sell the first units to our friends and family for "practice". This gives the impression that the company is more interested in selling its products via new recruits than in actually developing a sales force. What's more, I've noticed the presence of many young people, some of whom appear to be underage, with no professional experience whatsoever, which raises questions about the ethics and legality of such practices. There is no fixed salary, only commissions, which means that if there are no sales, you earn nothing. This type of operation strongly resembles disguised pyramid selling or a form of exploitation through direct selling. I strongly advise anyone against wasting time with this kind of recruitment process.

The management is very available, with an individual approach. I think it's great that people who work are rewarded.

A fixed salary should be envisaged (even as a minimum to encourage)

Freedom to work from home or in a branch. Good atmosphere.

More frequent training would be great. An automatic fixed salary plus commission.
