About the role

The Director Human Resources Corporate will act as the HR partner responsible for delivering results-oriented people strategies that foster the development of a high-performing, values driven, growth-oriented Corporate Organization.

The Director Human Resources Corporate operates as partner for selected Corporate Functions and their Leadership Teams, namely - the Strategic Development Group, Group Finance & IT, Chief Commercial Officer’s team (including, Global Procurement, Global Product Management, Global Leverage and Liquiform), Investor Relations and Corporate HR, Communications and Health & Safety, to foster a collaborative culture, to identify, engage, develop and retain those individuals who have the potential to be of greatest value to our business.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Works closely with Senior Leaders as a senior business partner and key advisor, providing day-to-day guidance and coaching on strategic and operational aspects of employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; organization and talent development.
  • Drive all Talent Management processes for client groups - including talent acquisition, talent assessment and retention, leadership training and development, succession planning, and diversity, to ensure a high performing leadership culture and motivated employee base that can execute on the business strategy and be rewarded for their contribution.
  • Effectively and successfully mobilize and coordinate central specialized resources from the Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Remunerations, Communications, People systems and others accordingly to business needs within the perimeter.
  • Ensure positive employee engagement across the corporate functions, through communication, engagement surveys and action planning.
  • Supports all corporate employees across all levels and all facets of HR including: employee lifecycle, employee engagement, development, communication, performance and change management.
  • Leads and/or supports annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management; merit and incentive awards, etc.
  • Leads change management initiatives and provides HR support to strategic projects, as required.
  • Resolves employee relations issues.
  • Ensures legal compliance of company HR practices across various countries and regions.
  • Responsible for project management of various initiatives and may serve as a team / project leader in Company-wide projects generated from Business Partners and the Corporate HR function.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the HRBP teams across different regions, ensuring alignment with company goals and values
  • Analyze HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, propose improvements, and develop proactive solutions to address HR challenges
  • Stay current with HR trends and best practices in HR and recommend innovative approaches to enhance programs and processes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in challenging senior HR positions accumulated internationally (through living and/or working) in a multinational matrix organization with modern HR practices and with a track record in mastering related challenges
  • Experience acting as the senior strategic HR business partner for a global business or global function or regional function
  • A combination of Field Operations and Corporate/COE experience preferred experience in a dynamic, highly complex global environment is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the natural ability to get access to the minds of senior executives is expected
  • Organizational savviness, resilience, the ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize tasks and deliver on time with a pragmatic mindset and a strong customer and results focus, seeing the bigger picture, whilst ensuring detail is correct
  • Nose for talent, a proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult HR matters
  • Ability to operate and lead in an ambiguous and changing environment, effectively resolving problems or issues ensuring stakeholder involvement and buy-in
