We seek a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support & improve daily operations. Your expertise will ensure top-notch quality in Surge Arrester products, contributing to a reliable future power grid. You'll provide crucial support across departments, develop innovative solutions, and maintain supplier part quality.

Your responsibilities
Technical support for Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, R&D, Controlling, Testing, Quality and Sales
Design and develop parts, products, equipment, molds and assembly equipment
Create, maintain, and release technical documentation: schematic designs, calculations, drawings, parts lists, configurators, and instructions
Lead tasks and small projects from stakeholder alignment, to define, plan and implementation activities
Maintain product master data in our PLM (Windchill) and ERP (SAP) systems
Carry out and documenting tests to qualify designs, materials, products and processes
Specify procurement of materials, components and operating resources
Collaborate in supplier evaluation and qualification
Conduct RCA and DOEs on factory issues and customer complaints
Your background
Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Technician FH/HF in Design considered
At least 2 years experience in a mechanical engineer or similar role
Proficiency in CAD (Creo, AutoCAD), PLM (Windchill) and/or SAP system
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing techniques is an advantage
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and proactively in a structured and detailed way
Project management experience is a plus
Openness to new challenges and a keen interest in learning and professional development
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Fluency in English; German skills preferred, or willingness to learn it
