Program and Admissions Manager Executive MBA

The EMBA UZH with focus on Digital Transformation is an innovative executive education flagship program launched in 2019. This English language program offers senior executives a state-of-the-art and highly practice-oriented management and leadership education to help them develop in their role as leaders. The EMBA is part of the Executive Education unit of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics at the University of Zurich.



Program and Admissions Manager Executive MBA

Your responsibilities

The role encompasses the program management of the English-speaking Executive MBA program and the management of the EMBA candidate journey from interest in the program to admission, including project management for new tools and processes and support of some marketing activities. In more detail the role includes the following tasks:

Program Management
Effectively organize all parts of the English EMBA with Focus on Digital Transformation:
  • Planning, coordination and organization of the modules and learning expeditions
  • Management of online classroom system for learning materials (OLAT)
  • First point of call for students and lecturers
  • Supervise Program Management Assistant

Admissions and Marketing
  • Support and manage candidates in the application process
  • Develop or edit social media posts
  • Promote the EMBA programs to candidates
  • Support candidate acquisition at events/fairs
  • Use of CRM and candidate application system to manage candidates and students

Finance
  • Preparation of invoices to students and payments to teaching staff

Project Management
  • Development and management of projects to implement new tools and processes to support students and candidates and enhance the learning experience

Your profile

  • University or FH degree
  • Good language skills in German and in English on near native level.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs, CMS and CRM is an advantage
  • Affinity to social media and flair for writing and presenting
  • Excellent communication skills, flair for writing and presenting
  • Ability to connect with applicants, students and lecturers
  • Organized and attentive to details
  • Highly customer focused and being able to be assertive in a positive way
  • A coaching style of leading students and stakeholders
  • International experience, cultural sensitivity
  • Good sense of humor
  • Experience in customer centric environments
  • Experience in managing executive education programs with international participants
  • Experience in international academic admissions and (E)MBA program management in FT ranked programs.
