The Group Functions and Services unit, with over 180 employees in Europe, Asia and North America, provides cross-business and cross-site services (Marketing & Communication, HR, Finance, IT, Legal).


As a result of our solid financial performance and increase in organizational capabilities, we are strengthening our global HR team and looking for a Global Head of Total Rewards (m/f/d) .


You are reporting directly into the Global Head of Human Resources and based at our headquarters in Flamatt, Switzerland.


What will you do?

  • Steer our compensation and benefits (C&B) strategy and programs to support current and future business needs

  • Develop, implement and manage C&B practices and tools to boost our employee experience and achieve our ambition of being a great place to work, including an equal pay for equal work strategy

  • Be an integral part of the broader global HR team to enable and deliver Comet’s strategic people agenda and Human Resources goals, as well as lead total rewards transformation projects

  • Provide internal consulting on market practices/ trends, monitor effectiveness of programs and provide recommendations for changes/ enhancements

  • Design, implement and maintain global mobility policies, systems and tools, ensuring compliance

  • Develop effective and compelling C&B communication strategies and tools to optimize the value of Total Rewards.


Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field

  • 15+ years of experience in HR; 5+ years of experience in steering Total Rewards/ C&B teams

  • Experience in designing C&B and global mobility programs and guiding strategy in these areas

  • IT/ digital affinity and solid experience with HRIS systems (SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors etc.)

  • Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment and multinational industrial company, fostering a culture of collaboration, empowerment and customer orientation at all levels.

  • Fluent in English and German written and spoken
