The British School of Geneva is seeking to recruit an outstanding Physical Education teacher for a full-time Contract from 24th August 2024. Founded in 2005, The British School of Geneva offers the full English National Curriculum from EYFS through to A Levels to students of all nationalities and educational backgrounds.
Today, the school welcomes around 300 students from over 70 nationalities in its bright, spacious, built-for-purpose premises. The British School of Geneva is a day school only and employs approximately 50 teachers and administrators. Students are the life-blood of any school, and all teachers, management and administrators are committed to helping every one of them thrive and confidently attain their full potential. The British School of Geneva Key Responsibilities for this position
In order to support the highest standard and most effective operation of the school we now seek an outstanding Physical Education teacher who can teach both non examination PE and PEARSON EDEXCEL A Level Physical Education (9PE0), from August 24th 2024.
Do you have a proven track record of outstanding Physical Education teaching in your career to date in a Pearson EDEXCEL or equivalent English language school?. If you are confident that you can meet the requirements of this position with ability and enthusiasm we would like to hear from you.
Physical Education Teacher : Provision of scheduled Staff Duties, Form Tutor and After School Activities
The PE department comprises 1.5 full-time equivalent positions. Our school utilizes our Hall area and the local highly resourced Bois des Freres Sports Centre for the provision of our Physical Education classes.
The British School of Geneva (BSG) offers non-examination PE to all students in all years. For August 2024 we are introducing PEARSON EDEXCEL A Level PE, Course 9PEO. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver this course commencing for the incoming Year 12 students from August 2024.
The PE teaching position also comes with the expectation of offering three after school days of ECA Activity (for which there is separate, additional remuneration allocated).
