Operations Analyst

Zurich North America is currently hiring an Operations Analyst to join the Large Casualty team! As an Operations Analyst, under direct supervision, you will conduct standardized data analysis on existing operating procedures, develop process improvements and refinements using cost/benefit analysis, and create and revise procedure bulletins; act as a subject matter expert on business systems and provide basic technical assistance to support overall strategic, business, and operational planning, performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting.

This is a hybrid work position, however, the candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report into one of the following North American office locations: Los Angeles, CA, Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA

In this role you will be responsible for:

Acquires and applies foundational knowledge of the business.

Participates in problem resolution and identifies issues appropriate for escalation.

Applies judgment within established parameters.

Drives a high-performance culture by collecting, and maintaining data related to performance measurements.

Monitors daily business performance measures and notifies leadership if issues arise.

Develops, analyzes, and presents various assigned audit results including recommended system process improvements.

Conducts pre and post-production validation assignments, communicates and documents results.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and No prior experience required in the operations area

OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Operations area

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Office skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of business systems or similar data systems

Experience with database management

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The starting salary range for this position is $44,700-$61,500.
