ERP Manager

Main activities

• Responsible for managing ERP (SAP Business One) projects for the Geneva headquarter and international subsidiaries. This involves overseeing the implementation of ERP systems and related components such as EDI, Intercompany, Salesforce, e.shop, Magic XPI and ensuring the progress of engineers or consultants working on the project
• Define and configure enterprise software applications. This includes establishing and customizing software applications based on the organization's requirements, providing training to stakeholders and employees on their usage, and offering support and troubleshooting assistance when issues arise
• Act as a proactive contributor to the Supply Chain and Finance departments. This involves understanding their needs and translating them into relevant IT solutions, bridging the gap between the departments and the IT team
• Provide proposals for the Supply Chain and Finance departments by translating their needs into relevant IT solutions. This requires understanding the requirements of the departments, proposing suitable IT solutions, and actively contributing to the improvement of processes in the areas of Supply Chain and Finance
• Manage the continuous improvement for the ERP platform and integrations
• Ensure proper management of ERP projects
• Responsible for SAP B1 and Vendor management including change management, user administration, master data management and incident support ticketing
• Collect and manage the backlog of system enhancements guided by a periodically refreshed SAP roadmap and governance process
• Keep the system documentation up to date and contribute to the training material
• Assist IT leadership in strategic platform and integration decisions, preparing a migration to SAP S/4 environment
• Undertake any other specific tasks assigned by the management

Your profile

• Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering, EPF, HES or University IT degree
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position administrating an ERP
• Experienced in ERP migration in an international context
• Strong knowledge of SAP Business One or another ERP (JD Edwards,
• Dynamics NAV, -)
• Profound leadership experience in running IT and SAP operations (ITIL based , PMP or similar)
• Relevant experience in managing 3rd party providers
• Good knowledge of ERP based Business processes
• CVS knowledge would be an asset
• A first experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device would be an asset
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Finance processes would be an asset
• Strong organisational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in French and English
