Junior Fiduciary / Money Market Trader



Your team


Pictet Trading & Sales provides direct access to global markets, offering bespoke trading solutions across a wide range of asset classes. Our sales traders, IT specialists, strategists and quant analysts are supported by a full suite of risk and control functions as well as the latest technology capabilities.


 


You will join a dynamic team that meets the needs of a demanding clientele. Your team is in close contact with institutional clients and markets, and handles a wide variety of increasingly complex products. The team’s core business is centred on ensuring best execution and compliance with the regulatory requirements applicable to fixed income instruments, implementing strategy proposals and other value-added services.


Your role



  • Carrying out each trade according to Pictet standards.

  • Executing fiduciary orders (48h calls, 48h premium calls, fixed-term deposits) and money market orders (commercial papers, bills, Swiss T-bills, certificates of deposit, Murabaha CDs, etc.).

  • Managing the fiduciary commitments defined by the Treasury Committee and the weekly Credit Committee.

  • Issuing various daily and weekly reports to certain internal committees.

  • Observing and learning proactively from more experienced team members. Training on short-term interest rate products.

  • Contributing to the digitalisation of the asset class.


Your profile



  • At least two (2) years’ previous experience in the banking industry.

  • Good knowledge of financial markets and instruments (such as fiduciary and fixed income).

  • Excellent command of French and English; knowledge of a third European language would be a plus.

  • Proficiency with MS tools, basic coding skills and knowledge of trading systems (such as Bloomberg or other systems).

  • Good analytical and stress management skills.

  • Inquiring mindset showing flexibility and agility.

  • Team player and client-oriented approach.

  • Must be resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
