About the job
Certified Nursing Specialist HF / FH with Additional Vocational Training Function (m/f/d) – Department «Gerontopsychiatry»
Workload 80 – 100 %
Gerontopsychiatry with humour, attitude and humanity
With us, people are allowed to be who they are. Loud, quiet, colourful, headstrong, vulnerable, funny, sad, creative, sometimes chaotic - and always unique.
For our gerontopsychiatric department, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a certified nursing specialist with a vocational training function who combines expertise with heart and meets young people with as much patience as our residents.
Do you want to pass on your nursing knowledge and accompany learners in everyday life?
In autumn 2026, we will expand our existing gerontopsychiatry department in the new building at the Baden site and specifically expand the care of people with mental illnesses in old age. You can expect a committed team where you can purposefully contribute your expertise, experience and personality in everyday nursing. We look forward to meeting you.
The Regional Nursing Centre Baden is one of the largest providers of long-term care in Switzerland. We offer our residents of all ages specialised professional nursing and care in various areas of expertise. Our headquarters in Baden (AG) is currently being comprehensively modernised through new construction and renovations and supplemented with 86 new retirement apartments.
This is how you support us:
- You accompany and support our learners and HF students in their professional everyday life and ensure the high quality of practical training.
- You work closely with our nursing vocational training manager as well as with other professional groups.
- You ensure the nursing and care of our residents within the framework of primary nursing, which includes professional and evidence-based care.
- In addition to nursing activities, you also carry out medical-technical measures.
- You take on the daily responsibility.
- You carefully maintain the nursing documentation and ensure a smooth handover to the team.
This is how you convince us:
- You have completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF / FH or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- You enjoy working with older people with mental health challenges.
- You approach people with patience, reflectiveness and humour.
- You handle challenging behaviour confidently and professionally.
- You recognise even small progress as great successes.
- You bring experience in vocational training and have the SVEB 1 qualification or are willing to obtain it.
- You are familiar with RAI-NH and apply it confidently in practice.
- You are an empathetic, innovative, flexible and cheerful personality with a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting.
This is how we inspire you:
- A working day that combines expertise, creativity and humanity.
- Relationship building instead of pure task orientation.
- A team that works with humour, appreciation and mutual support even in demanding situations.
- An open culture in which self-determination, tolerance and dignity are highly valued.
- Learners who are accompanied, supported and taken seriously.
And that’s not all! Discover many more attractive benefits on our career page in the areas of work-life balance, health promotion, wellness, discounts and future prospects.
What is important to us:
- We believe that people with mental illnesses in old age also have the right to self-determination, dignity and individuality.
- That behaviour always has a reason.
- And that good gerontopsychiatric care begins where one does not only see symptoms but the person behind them.
