What is the role about?
You will lead a new dedicated team and be responsible for the introduction and further development of a method chain for quality planning. In doing so, you will shape the strategic and operational implementation across innovation, manufacturing, and procurement, and actively drive quality management forward. You will report directly to the Head of Quality Management.
What tasks will you take on?
- You will introduce the method chains of quality planning, ensure their operational application, and continuously develop them further.
- You will take responsibility as method owner, controller, and user, ensuring effective application of the methods.
- You will actively participate as a member of the review team in the product development process (PEP) and contribute your method expertise purposefully.
- You will train the relevant methods and method chains and promote their sustainable application and embedding throughout the company.
- You will lead a strong team, develop it purposefully, and create the organisational prerequisites for professional and company-wide method competence.
What do we expect from you?
- You have a technical master’s degree, for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or process engineering.
- You bring many years of experience in the introduction, application, and further development of quality planning methods as well as solid practical experience in product development.
- You convince through analytical strength, a pronounced willingness to shape, and the ability to enforce sustainable solutions even in demanding situations.
- You have a strong understanding of the maturity level of organisations and know what requirements must be met today and in the future for professional quality planning.
- You work confidently with interdisciplinary teams and the functions of technical quality, manufacturing quality assurance, and supplier quality, communicate fluently in German and English, and are proficient in handling ERP and QM systems.
