Procedural Assistant to the Department Head 70 - 80%The Public Prosecutor's Office III of the Canton of Zurich specialises in qualified economic crime and international legal assistance. The criminal investigations conducted here concern fraud, embezzlement, balance sheet falsification, stock exchange offences, and other crimes.
From 1 June 2026 or by arrangement, we are seeking your support to complement our team as a Procedural Assistant to the Department Head (70–80%).
Job Description
As an assistant to the department head, you will take on all secretarial and administrative tasks. You will independently manage the secretariat and support the department head in leadership, coordination of the department, and in conducting investigations.
You will be responsible for organising and recording hearings, file management, and the administrative preparation of resolutions, and you will liaise with authorities, parties, and third parties. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the other secretariats of Department C and act as a point of contact for various organisational matters both externally and within the department. The role requires independence, precise and reliable working methods, and strong teamwork skills.
Requirements
You have completed commercial or equivalent training. High typing skills and impeccable, confident German are expected. Furthermore, you have good IT user skills and good English language skills.
You work independently, reliably, carefully, and flexibly. Integrity and discretion are a matter of course for you, and you have an interest in criminal prosecution. You demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, resilience, and organisational flair. You always find the right tone when dealing with department members, parties involved in proceedings, and interface partners. Supporting all department members in managing the secretarial tasks is a matter of course for you.
Existing knowledge of internal procedures is an advantage.
