Job Description

As Head of the billing department, you oversee all outpatient billing activities of Le Réseau de l’Arc.

You manage a team of about 10 employees spread across several sites in the Grand Chasseral / Bernese Jura region. Through caring and close management, you ensure efficient organisation.

You are the point of contact for all questions related to outpatient tariffs and support the various services of Le Réseau de l’Arc in achieving their objectives.

Your responsibilities

• Manage, support and develop the outpatient department
• Organise and harmonise billing processes between different sites and actively participate in continuous improvement
• Ensure the quality, compliance and timeliness of billing
• Supervise complex cases and coordinate billing
• Develop quality controls and performance indicators for the service
• Be the preferred interlocutor for doctors, medical managers and directors regarding outpatient billing
• Maintain constant monitoring of tariff developments
• Lead the implementation and evolution of tariff catalogues:
  • TARDOC
  • Outpatient packages
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Other outpatient tariffs
• Actively participate in institutional projects related to tariff developments
• Ensure the establishment of medical fees

Qualifications

You are recognised as a true specialist in outpatient billing and wish to put your expertise at the service of an institution undergoing profound transformation.

You know the subtleties of outpatient medical billing and navigate with ease in a constantly evolving tariff environment? TARDOC, outpatient packages and tariff catalogues are part of your professional world? We are interested in your profile!

You have a commercial education or an equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by higher education such as a federal certificate, a ES/HES diploma or a relevant specialisation.

With several years of experience in outpatient medical billing, you have developed excellent mastery of TARDOC and outpatient packages, as well as a very good knowledge of other tariff catalogues.

You understand the different billing mechanisms related to health, accident, disability and military insurance and know how to rigorously grasp their specificities.

Team management is also part of your experience. You know how to unite, support and develop your employees through natural and constructive leadership, fostering collaboration, autonomy and skills development.

Endowed with excellent analytical skills and a solid sense of organisation, you know how to take a step back, manage priorities and provide concrete solutions, even in complex situations.

Quality, continuous improvement and a service mindset are at the heart of your working style. You enjoy evolving practices, optimising processes and actively contributing to collective performance.
