About the job
The Road Maintenance Department of the Department of Construction and Environment is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the cantonal roads. The employees of the Schwanden depot ensure the availability and safety of the cantonal roads in the southern canton area and in the Klöntal in all weather conditions and at all times of the day.
We are looking for a
Depot Worker 80–100 %
immediately or by arrangement, with the workplace at the Schwanden depot.
Tasks
- General road maintenance work
- Winter service
- Green area maintenance
- Road signalling
- On-call duty
- Vehicle and machine maintenance
Requirements
- Basic craft training
- Driving licence category B or C1 (category C/CE advantageous)
- Willingness for on-call duty
- Enjoyment of a varied activity outdoors
- Teamwork skills and reliability
