Your Tasks
This is what your new professional life could look like:
- You mainly work in the office and take on extensive police tasks that arise on a daily basis: You investigate, create reports, provide counter services, conduct interviews, process requests from other authorities, secure evidence, evaluate information, etc.
- You support the regional police (Stationed Police and Regional Investigations) from the office in event and case management and in police investigation procedures.
- You process requests from other authorities and cover additional general police services.
- You generally perform your duties in uniform and are equipped with minimal police coercive measures (irritants and handcuffs).
- You primarily work during the day. Sometimes you are also on duty on weekends or at night or may be on call.
- Your workplace is located in Bern, Biel/Bienne, Burgdorf, Interlaken, Langenthal, or Thun. You will complete your theoretical training in Ittigen.
