• Independent treatment of your own patients including outpatient and inpatient surgeries
• Conducting personal senior physician consultations
• Regular surgical interdisciplinary emergency duties
• Organisational leadership and development of the assigned specialist areas and activities within the framework of the hospital’s and clinic’s strategic and operational goals
• Teaching and coaching of assigned assistant physicians
• Medical networking within and outside the hospital

Become part of our Department of Emergency and Acute Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. Under this umbrella, we combine the areas of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Nephrology with Dialysis Centre, the Emergency Department, the Eye Centre, the Medical Outpatient Clinic, the Day Clinic as well as bed management and other departments. The Clinic for Internal Medicine cares for over 2,500 inpatients annually, the Clinic for Surgery over 1,500 inpatients. With more than 6,000 emergency consultations and over 450 patients treated in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, we offer a varied and demanding working environment with a broad internal medicine spectrum.
