Your tasks:
In this role, you combine teaching, research and practice and actively shape the development of our new Financial Competence Lab at the FHNW Campus Basel Dreispitz. You take responsibility in the following core areas:
- Conducting courses in the field of financial management, especially household finance, as well as supervising student work
- Contributing to the establishment and content-related further development of the Financial Competence Lab (Master of Science in Finance)
- Supervising doctoral candidates and research staff in research projects
- Further development of the institute as well as maintenance and expansion of cooperation with practice partners
Your profile:
You are a committed, research-strong and practice-oriented individual with pronounced didactic skills. You also bring the following:
- University degree (preferably doctorate) in the field of finance
- Teaching experience at university level, ideally complemented by higher education didactic training
- Proven research interest, ideally with initial publications and experience in practice-oriented research projects
- Sound knowledge in quantitative data analysis with a focus on finance
- Reliable, independent and team-oriented working style
