Is this helpful?
The GK Grünenfelder AG offers innovative and high-quality vehicles for goods transport on the road. We have been active in vehicle construction as a family-run company for 75 years. With a motivated team and a strong quality awareness, we have developed into a leading manufacturer of superstructures, trailers, and semi-trailers of all sizes and weight classes in Switzerland. With your knowledge and skills in the field of commercial vehicles, you will help to continue this success story.
Are you a team player and enjoy working with metal and machines of all kinds? Then the two-year training as a metal construction practitioner is just right for you! During this time, you will be trained in our workshops and attend various inter-company courses for six weeks.
Metal construction practitioners weld on vehicles, assemble devices, carry out simple tasks independently in the workshop and on site, and assist in the company. They work with materials such as steel, aluminum, or glass. Using hand tools, devices, and computer-controlled machines, they manufacture different components. Metal construction practitioners assemble these using various techniques. You will learn to bend, punch, drill, and weld.
