About the job
You have already considered a move to Switzerland and are now looking for a position that not only fits professionally but also takes your life outside of work into account? Here you will find modern general practice medicine, an attractive region with high recreational value, and at the same time a location that allows regular visits to Germany without any problems.
You work in a modern, interdisciplinary medical care centre (MVZ) in Eastern Switzerland. The practice is part of an established nationwide network and offers you a professional infrastructure with clear processes. Several specialists in General Internal Medicine as well as other disciplines work closely together on site. You are supported by a large, experienced MPA team, allowing you to focus more on your medical work in everyday life.
The medical offering deliberately goes beyond classical general practice medicine: in addition to broad general medical care, you benefit from modern diagnostics (laboratory, X-ray, spirometry), structured chronic care management, as well as additional specialisations such as allergology or sleep medicine. The interdisciplinary collaboration enables you to provide high-quality and at the same time efficient patient care.
The surroundings offer an ideal mix of rural tranquillity and good infrastructure – perfect for you if you consciously seek a balance to the often hectic clinical routine. The Lake Constance is within a short distance and invites you to walks and sporting activities just like the numerous hiking areas in the region. Winter sports opportunities are also comfortably within reach.
At the same time, you benefit from very good transport connections: cities such as Zurich or St. Gallen are quickly accessible, and the German border is at a reasonable distance, so regular visits to family and friends remain well planned.
Your tasks:
- Comprehensive care of a broad general practice patient spectrum
- Treatment of acute and chronic diseases
- Conducting preventive examinations and preventive medicine
- Participation in structured chronic care management
- Use of modern diagnostic options (laboratory, imaging, functional diagnostics)
- Interdisciplinary collaboration within the Medical Centre
Your skills:
- Specialist title in General Medicine, General Practitioner or General Internal Medicine
- Concrete interest in moving to Switzerland – we support you financially and with advice in obtaining the necessary permits (MEBEKO, BAB, OKP)
- Independent and structured way of working
- Enjoyment of high-quality, patient-centred medicine
- Team-oriented personality
Your benefits:
- Modern practice with a broad medical spectrum and well-organised practice structure
- Experienced, collegial team with several general practitioners
- High proportion of medical activity instead of administration
- Attractive region with direct proximity to nature, lake and mountains
- Good accessibility of urban centres as well as Germany
- Regulated 45-hour week and financial and time support for further education and training
- Above-average employer contributions to pension funds
- Support when starting in Switzerland (permits, system, framework conditions)
