Specialist Asylum & Enforcement 80 - 100%The Migration Office of the Canton of Zurich operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues and the resulting tasks. It is responsible for the enforcement of Swiss foreigner and asylum law, the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons between Switzerland and the EU and EFTA states, as well as the Schengen and Dublin agreements.
For the Asylum & Enforcement department, we are looking for a specialist in enforcement from 1 June 2026 or by arrangement, 80 - 100%.
As a specialist in the Enforcement team, you are responsible for the enforcement of expulsion orders in the areas of asylum and foreigner law, the enforcement of national bans, the procurement of travel documents, as well as the examination and ordering of foreign law coercive measures. In addition, you prepare statements for the judicial detention review authorities.
For this demanding and varied role, we require at least a commercial apprenticeship (commercial clerk EFZ) and several years of professional experience or a completed bachelor’s degree. You are articulate in written expression and have an interest in legal issues as well as in the structured drafting of complex decisions. Furthermore, you convince with flexibility, high commitment, and resilience. Pleasant manners, a sense of collegial cooperation, and a touch of humour complete your profile. You also possess Swiss citizenship.
