Management & Work Integration
- Excellent management: The maintenance audit confirmed the certification according to ISO 9001:2015 for the entire foundation's management system without any deviations. As the world’s leading standard for quality management systems, this norm guarantees that our processes meet the highest international requirements and are continuously optimised.
- Verified integration: In the area of work integration, we support people on their way back to professional life. The audit according to the IN-Qualis:2018 standard confirms that we do this with the highest professionalism. We fully meet all requirements without deviations – for genuine prospects and support on an equal footing.
Excellence in Palliative Care
Recertification 2026: The "Qualité Palliative" label was awarded to us again without reservations after intensive examination. This quality label is the nationally recognised standard in Switzerland and guarantees our patients and their relatives a professionally excellent, dignified, and holistic support in complex situations.
Recognised training centre: Diaconis is officially recognised and audited by palliative.ch as a training centre for palliative medicine. This ensures the transfer of knowledge and the quality of the next generation of specialists.
Verified medication competence: The renewed operating licence from the Canton of Bern for our hospital pharmacy guarantees professional medication supply for our patients.
Gastronomy & Sustainability
Enjoyment with added value: In 2026, we were again awarded the Fourchette Verte certificate. It stands for a balanced, healthy, and sustainable catering offer in our gastronomy.
Ecological responsibility: Within the framework of the Cantonal Target Agreement (KZV) for large consumers, we make a measurable contribution to climate protection. Through targeted measures to increase energy efficiency, we actively reduce CO₂ emissions in the Canton of Bern.
