The Psychotherapeutic Practice Position (PTPS) of the Department of Psychology at the University of Fribourg is looking for a committed individual for the Co-Leadership (20%). The leadership is shared in a co-leadership model with a second person and can be combined with clinical work as a psychotherapist at the PTPS (30–50%). The total employment level is thus 50–70%. Your tasks
Leadership & Organisation
- Co-responsibility for the operational and strategic leadership of the PTPS together with the co-leadership
- Ensuring smooth operations and further development of the organisational unit
- Management, promotion and development of employees
Professional leadership & training
- Training and supervision of psychotherapists in further education
- Professional responsibility for psychodiagnostics and report preparation
- Review of electronic patient records (Medi Online) maintained by psychotherapists
- Supervision and mentoring of interns within the framework of mandatory psychology internships
Quality & Administration
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and legal requirements
- Monitoring correct billing processes
- Organisation and coordination of further training as well as planning of acquisitions (e.g. test materials, infrastructure)
Development & Networking
- Expansion of the evidence-based treatment offer
- Building and maintaining clinical and scientific networks
Research & Teaching
- Implementation and monitoring of research projects of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy
- Optional: Co-supervision of qualification theses
Desired profile
- Completed degree in psychology (Master) as well as a completed, federally recognised further education in psychotherapy with a focus on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for adults
- Several years of professional experience in the clinical field
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership responsibility
- Experience in supervision, training or mentoring of employees is an advantage
- Strong team and communication skills
- Interest in shaping the further development of the area within the co-leadership team
- Structured and independent working style
- Very good German skills; French and/or English skills are an advantage
