About the job
"All children and young people grow up with confidence and joy, thanks to an environment that supports and strengthens them, and in a society that allows them to help shape their own future."
This is our vision and today around 200 employees, together with over 1,000 volunteers throughout Switzerland, passionately and dedicatedly work every day to realise it. Through our services - such as the emergency line 147, letters to parents, application preparation courses, media use workshops and many others - we support children, adolescents and their families daily.
The Pro Juventute Switzerland Foundation is active in youth policy and education. Since 2008 it has managed the Mentoring project, which develops an innovative educational approach: for limited periods, non-professional mentors, positive adult role models, are paired with young people who are struggling mainly due to existential reasons that jeopardise their growth path.
We are looking for a site manager (60% operational role based in Biasca) with the possibility of increasing the work percentage.
The person in the role of site manager will lead and coordinate a team of 10–15 non-professional adult mentors. In addition, they will participate in building individual educational projects for the young people who turn to our project.
