About the job
What is my role?
Overall responsibility for the HR department and leading a team supporting around 200 employees
Development and implementation of the HR strategy as well as operational management of all personnel matters from entry to exit
Responsibility for the monthly payroll accounting including adjustments and provision of payroll data for financial accounting
Planning and preparation of the annual personnel budget as well as ongoing monthly forecasts
Ensuring compliance with labour law requirements and the national collective labour agreement
Management and organisation of the entire personnel administration
Leadership and optimisation of the complete recruitment process from job posting to hiring
Review of duty rosters for compliance with L-GAV regulations
Coordination of the annual holiday planning for all employees
Management of withholding taxes and ongoing monitoring of all required work permits including third-country nationals
Responsibility for the continuous updating of all personnel-related documents such as dress code, guidelines on conduct and hygiene, internal regulations, personnel handbook and job descriptions
Design and monitoring of process flows and standards throughout human resources
Establishment and maintenance of cooperation with personnel service providers, educational institutions, public authorities, GastroSocial and insurance partners
What do I need to be successful?
Several years of experience in an HR leadership role in the hotel or catering industry - you know the sector and its particularities
Ideally further training as an HR specialist with a federal professional certificate or strong practical experience
Federal professional trainer qualification
Solid know-how in labour and social insurance law as well as in L-GAV
Confident use of mirus 3.0 - mandatory
Fluent German and English skills
Assertive, service-oriented and numerically inclined - confident even in stressful situations
High social competence and communication skills - empathetic and trust-building
