• The SSCM implements the cantonal policy regarding population protection and coordinates the various actors within the framework of the cantonal crisis management organization (ORCCAN). It also handles the administrative and logistical military tasks delegated to the canton by the Confederation, notably the management of military infrastructures and installations at the Colombier site. Finally, it manages the entire vehicle fleet of the State.

As part of your role, you are responsible for the sanitary and heating infrastructures of all barracks and buildings managed by the SSCM.

Thanks to your expertise, you ensure their maintenance, management, and repairs, while bringing improvements to existing infrastructures. Routine troubleshooting, minor modifications, as well as the proper functioning of specific equipment such as water softeners, boilers, and hot water production systems are integral parts of your activities.

You regularly maintain ventilation units and monitor the sanitary installations of shooting ranges and warehouses, ensuring their proper working condition.

As the service contact person for larger-scale work, you coordinate interventions and maintain contacts with civilian companies, thus guaranteeing a high level of quality. Finally, you carry out periodic inspections of gutters and rainwater drainage systems.

Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a sanitary installer, heating assembler, tinsmith, or an equivalent qualification, you have at least five years of experience, particularly in troubleshooting and repairing technical installations.

You have a sense of responsibility, work independently with rigor and availability, and do not hesitate to take initiatives.

Comfortable with common IT tools, you master remote management software for heating installations.

The position also requires good physical condition, the ability to perform work at heights, and to work in a military environment focused on security aspects. You demonstrate good interpersonal skills and easily collaborate with all civilian or military users.

Holder of a valid driving license, you reside in Switzerland and meet the conditions related to the security check for persons (CSP).
