Operational Buyer (m/f/d) Beverage

• Disposition and purchasing of various beverage product groups taking into account demand as well as developments in the procurement market (cost / quality requirements)
• Creation and further development of article structures, as well as their timely tendering and professional evaluation with price and condition negotiation
• Systematic supplier selection, as well as submission of supplier proposals to reduce costs and improve quality
• Review and further development of existing and new potential cooperations with the beverage industry
• Participation and operational support of the central beverage warehouse team at major events regarding controlled internal goods disposition
• Seamless mapping of goods movements with corresponding documentation process (vouchers / requests, etc.) as well as assistance with permanent and monthly inventories
• Ensuring general office organization, invoice control, and internal information concerning the functional area

• Successfully completed vocational training in the hotel / gastronomy or trade sector with commercial further training or comparable qualification
• Ideally several years of professional experience in gastronomy-related beverage purchasing as well as in the upscale hotel industry and the associated product range
• Good knowledge of the local, national, and international beverage range in upscale gastronomy
• Confidence and routine in demand planning and inventory management
• Personally, you are characterized by your systematic and reliable way of working, your team and communication skills, as well as a confident, poised, and professional appearance
• In addition to your business fluent German skills, you are proficient in English, both spoken and written
• Familiarity with MS Office programs as well as good knowledge of merchandise management programs
