The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Nursing Department under the site management of Ms Dragica Novakovic, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a Co-Team Leader - Acute Somatic Care Nursing for a workload of 80-100%.
Your tasks
- Personnel and organisational leadership of staff on a medical ward with 18 beds
- Shared responsibility in a co-team leadership (50:50)
- You lead a team professionally and personally with approximately 20 to 25 employees
- Promotion and holistic care of patients
- Participation in processes and projects
- Implementation of concepts, guidelines and standards as well as responsibility for the organisation and adherence to ward procedures
- Personnel and team development as well as individual support of employees
- Co-decision in personnel recruitment
- Active participation in day-to-day operations as a qualified nurse
Your profile
- Qualification as a qualified nurse AKP/DNII/HF/FH
- Leadership experience and leadership training desired
- High social competence, flexibility, good organisational skills and pronounced communication ability
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
- Commitment, creativity and innovation in the further development of the ward and the team
- Independent working style as well as open, assertive and resilient personality
- Enjoyment in developing within a company that promotes learning and where good collaboration is a central aspect of patient care
- High level of professional, social, self- and methodological competence characterises you
- You act confidently and constructively in an interdisciplinary context
