The main IT department is the central IT service office for the authorities, the courts, as well as the cantonal and municipal schools in the canton of Glarus. It is responsible for operating the IT infrastructure in the areas of network, servers, storage, security, unified communication, office automation, specialist and e-government applications.

Tasks
- You install hardware and software, expand device configurations, and train users.
- You ensure the operation and networking of user devices.
- You perform maintenance work on user devices.
- You support users in handling ICT tools.
- You ensure that information is protected and can be securely distributed.
- You are jointly responsible for handling ICT support tasks in 1st level support.
