As a DevOps Engineer, you take on a key role in the further development of our Microsoft Cloud platforms and our automation landscape. Together with our IT team, you ensure that our systems are operated reliably, securely and efficiently, and you continuously develop our infrastructure. In doing so, you work with modern technologies, contribute your own ideas and actively support the digitalisation and innovation of our company.
- Building and further development of CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Automation of infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or Bicep)
- Administration and optimisation of Azure environments in terms of security, performance and cost
- Implementation and operation of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
- Monitoring, logging and incident management with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Microsoft Defender
- Close collaboration with software development, architecture and IT operations
- Support with cloud migrations and modernisation of existing applications
- Documentation of solutions as well as knowledge transfer within the team
- Experience in DevOps or cloud engineering
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms
- Solid knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates)
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Understanding of networks, identity management (Microsoft Entra ID), security and cloud governance
- Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect)
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel or Azure Landing Zones
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills

Responsibilities

Profile
- Completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification- Experience in DevOps or cloud engineering
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms
- Solid knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates)
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash or Python
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
