Teacher Education (70-90%)
The various offerings in the labor integration of Streetchurch accompany adolescents and young adults holistically and relationship-oriented in the different aspects of their professional integration. From our Education team, the participants are supported in their school skills, life skills, and career choice.
Together we set your priorities in the following areas of responsibility:
Educational Support (30-40%)
- Teaching basic school skills at secondary school level
- Comprehensive support of participants within the framework of career choice and application coaching
- Coordination and cooperation with other teachers in the Education team
- Planning and implementation of community events and excursions
Educational Contact Person (20-30%)
- Developing, adapting, and evaluating individual and holistic educational and integration goals
- Teaching and promoting learning strategies and methods, dealing with learning difficulties
- Individual learning and/or application coaching
- Cooperative collaboration with internal and external specialists and contact persons
Module Work (approx. 10%)
- Teaching educational modules in the area of life and everyday skills with didactic-methodical expertise and a consistent life and work orientation
- Planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of lessons in small groups
Training Support (optional)
- Individual support and counseling of persons in training
- Coordination of all involved partners (social authorities, disability insurance, vocational schools, employers)
- Basic training as a teacher or equivalent education and further training
- Sound knowledge and broad experience in the Swiss education system
- (e.g., career choice & bridging programs, secondary & vocational school)
- Confident handling of different target and stakeholder groups
- High independence and initiative as well as efficient and goal-oriented work
- Relationship-oriented and empathetic demeanor with assertiveness
- Ability to reflect and willingness to further develop one’s own teaching and counseling activities
- Dynamic work environment with professional self-expectation and great passion
- Interdisciplinary, appreciative team with commitment and openness
- Individual support and promotion through internal coaching of employees
