The Gasthof zum Goldenen Sternen is not only a charming city establishment with the elegant à la Carte restaurant, the idyllic courtyard garden (each with 85 seats) and the „Rheinterrasse“, the summer restaurant on the Rhine (50 seats), but also the oldest inn in Basel. It invites a wide range of guests from the city and the region, as well as business people and travellers from all over the world, to linger and enjoy a variety of culinary delights. The icing on the cake is the renowned Fisherman’s Galge. You can’t get closer to the Rhine.

Whether fish in pure R(h)ein culture or meat traditionally and consciously sourced from the region – popular «Sternen classics» must not be missing from the menu: For people who appreciate enjoyment and genuine hospitality.

Your profile - This is what you bring:

• Completed training as a restaurant specialist
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Passion for the industry and love for gastronomy
• You enjoy hosting guests and interacting with people
• You communicate authentically in German, English and perhaps also French
• Initiative, zest for life, charm & team spirit
