As a Senior Software Engineer, you are a central part of LGT’s GenAI team in Zurich. Together with the specialist departments and engineering partners, you develop production-ready applications and implement innovative AI-supported solutions.

In this role, you are responsible for the design, development, and operation of scalable software solutions across the entire technology stack – from backend to frontend. You bring solid engineering expertise as well as a strong understanding of architecture, security, and maintainability. You work with modern web applications, APIs, enterprise integrations, and Kubernetes-based infrastructures, ensuring that innovative use cases can be reliably operated in production environments.

You also evaluate how AI services can meaningfully enhance our products and engineering processes. Deep experience in model development is not required; however, a solid understanding of fundamental AI concepts and a strong interest in responsibly using managed AI services and APIs in a regulated environment are essential.

As part of the team, you actively shape architectural decisions and engineering standards, work closely with colleagues, and help to further develop engineering competencies within LGT. The position requires extensive practical development experience, technical judgement, and a pragmatic, solution- and product-oriented working style.
