Dispatcher/Workshop Coordinator Body Shop/Paint Shop 100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks:As a dispatcher, you are responsible for organizing and coordinating the body shop and paint shop departments and thus a central contact person for these departments. With your structured, careful, and solution-oriented working style, you ensure smooth processes, optimal resource utilization, and timely order completion.
- You take over the scheduling of bodywork and paint jobs and assign the employees accordingly
- You perform the final inspection of the completed vehicles and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- You are responsible for the active and continuous updating of the schedule
- You coordinate cooperation with partner garages at full capacity and ensure efficient order processing
- You plan all internal matters related to workshop appointments and ensure timely consultation and information sharing with the relevant department
- You check workshop orders for completeness, accuracy, and correct recording of workload
- You respond early and appropriately to over- and under-capacities within the department
- You have completed training as a car body mechanic EFZ, car painter EFZ, or a comparable technical education
- You have several years of professional experience in dispatching and possess solid knowledge in deployment, scheduling, and capacity planning
- You already have experience coordinating workflows in the body and paint shop area
- You have the ability to work in a structured way and are an organizational talent
- Confident handling of digital tools, workshop software, and IT applications is a matter of course for you
- You are a positive, team-oriented personality who enjoys working with the body shop/paint shop, internal departments, and external partners
