Your tasks
- Strategically, financially, operationally, and personally lead the team with the functions of energy trading (front and back office), portfolio management, application management & data science
- Ensure economically optimized management and long-term, risk-averse hedging of the power plant portfolio through hedging strategies
- Ensure and be responsible for market-appropriate procurement of electricity, gas, and certificates for sales
- Ensure a well-functioning and future-oriented system landscape in energy trading and further professionalize data-based analyses and evaluations
- Be responsible for the development of projects in energy trading and bring them to success as a project sponsor by introducing new opportunities, prioritizing, and supporting implementation
- Actively promote collaboration and coordination with cross-departmental entities such as production, finance, product management, sales, IT, as well as external partners and suppliers, and optimize processes
This is what sets you apart
- University degree (engineering or business) and further training in general management / leadership
- Great competence in forward-looking and progressive leadership
- Good knowledge of the energy trading market and its influencing factors, energy portfolio management, and current IT developments
- Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
- Structured, analytical, and entrepreneurial thinking as well as a responsible and reliable working style with a high quality standard
- High personal commitment and resilience
- Very good oral and written German and English skills
