Project Manager Civil Engineering

For our demanding projects in the chemical industry, we are looking for a project manager for our engineering department at the Visp plant. Apply for the position as a civil engineer or construction manager and become part of an experienced team to jointly plan small and large projects in a multidisciplinary environment.

Your tasks:
•    In the construction department, you take on project management and coordination tasks, focusing on structural building construction and civil engineering as well as industrial construction
•    In close collaboration with internal clients, you plan and implement sometimes cross-functional construction projects in our building park
•    You lead and manage external planning teams and construction companies to a successful project completion
•    You ensure that the costs, deadlines, quality, and safety of the construction projects you manage are met
•    With training as a civil engineer, you design and draft load-bearing structures and carry out the corresponding static calculations

Your profile:
•    You have several years of professional experience in building construction and civil engineering, preferably as a certified civil engineer and structural engineer in structural engineering
•    You have knowledge of project management or the willingness to acquire it
•    You have an independent, reliable, and goal-oriented working style
•    You are enthusiastic, resilient, and flexible in complex projects
•    Excellent team and social skills characterize you
•    Industrial experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
•    You can communicate fluently in German at level C1
