Vigier Ciment has been manufacturing cement in the Reuchenette valley, near Biel, since 1896. With a production of about 900,000 tons per year, we are among the leading cement manufacturers in Switzerland. The industrial equipment constructor's mission is to create or improve production units by referring to the plans provided and by taking measurements on site. This includes the construction of metal structures, volumes made from sheet metals, piping, mechanical transmission elements, all assembled by welding or mechanically.
During your apprenticeship in the maintenance workshop, you will be able to apply what you are taught at school, supervised by a team of professionals with your own workstation and a recently renovated workshop.
