Tool and Equipment Designer
Your Tasks
- Development and design of new and conceptually continuously improved injection molding tools for smallest plastic parts, also in 2K version
- Development and design of new and continuously optimized equipment such as assembly fixtures, measuring adapters, and testing devices
- Responsibility for the timely design and verification of new injection molding tools and equipment considering high process stability, cost-effectiveness, volume production, ease of use, and low maintenance effort
- Creation and maintenance of required technical documentation
- Evaluation of suitable suppliers to realize the above tasks as well as analysis and assessment of purchasable tool components
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training as a designer / polymechanic and ideally further training in the field of plastics technology or mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in design in the field of plastic injection molding technology
- Committed, independent, precise, and structured way of working
- High level of quality and customer orientation, willingness to change, and analytical skills
- Open-minded, communicative, team-oriented, and loyal personality with the necessary assertiveness
- Very good MS Office and 3D CAD skills (ideally on PTC Creo)
- Excellent German and good English skills
