The French Section of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Lausanne is offering a position for a graduate assistant in French Language and Literature of the Middle Ages (11th-16th centuries).
Job Information
Start date: August 1, 2026
Contract duration: one year, renewable twice for 2 years each, total maximum duration of 5 years.
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
At least 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis.
Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to supporting teaching and research tasks.
The assistant may, in particular, be responsible for two Bachelor-level courses per year, within a team led by a professor.
Participation in the tasks of the French Section.
Your Profile
Master of Arts (or equivalent degree). The degree must be obtained at the time of starting the position.
Willingness to develop a thesis in French language or literature of the Middle Ages (11th-15th centuries).
