About the job
Administrative Assistant Legal Service 50%Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office, together with the municipal tax offices, collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the location in Zurich Altstetten.
The Legal Service advises the assessment departments on tax law issues, represents the tax office in appeal procedures, answers inquiries from taxpayers and tax advisors, and decides on tax exemptions for legal entities.
Your tasks:
As an administrative assistant in the Legal Service of the cantonal tax office, you are responsible together with another assistant for the administrative management of the legal database and the Zurich tax book, in particular for processing and recording court decisions, laws, directives, and information sheets. This also includes supporting and participating in the technical further development of the legal database or its successor product. On the other hand, you jointly support the lawyers of the Legal Service with certificates of residence for pension funds and tax-exempt institutions, deadline extension complaints, reports concerning undeclared work, criminal complaints, supervisory complaints, requests for recusal, and IDG applications as well as statements in international mutual assistance procedures. You are then responsible for various general administrative tasks and act as deputy for the assistant to the head of the Legal Service and the other assistants in the Legal Service.
Your profile:
You have completed commercial training and have very good IT skills, especially in handling MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and are willing to familiarize yourself with new operating systems. You are flexible and a team player and show great personal commitment. You have a quick grasp and are used to working independently and accurately. You feel comfortable in a rapidly changing digital work environment. Language skills in French and/or English are an advantage.
