About the job
In our series “Who is…?” we introduce you to our team. Another look into our team!
Nadine Zuber
- Nadine has been working at Qualitas in the Business Analysis and Project Management team since March 2020. Previously, she completed an internship in the breeding value estimation team in 2017.
- After earning her Master of Science degree in Agricultural Sciences with a major in Animal Science at ETH Zurich, Nadine first worked at a small feeding consultancy company with a large associated Holstein farm, where she gained a lot of practical experience in all tasks related to dairy cattle and in management.
- Due to this previous work, she is well acquainted with the dairy cattle industry and knows the various procedures and processes in practice. As a result, Nadine currently looks after the cattle customers (Brown Swiss and swissherdbook), the dairy sheep, and FiBL at Qualitas. She greatly values the close collaboration with customers. This also includes communication between the customers, i.e. the breeding associations, and the developers to gather requirements and clarify questions from both sides, including the technical feasibility with the developers.
- At Qualitas, Nadine appreciates the family-like atmosphere internally as well as with customers. The flexible working hours and opportunities for home office allow her to organise work and leisure time as freely as possible. Furthermore, she greatly values that every employee has the opportunity to develop and further their education. For example, she was able to attend an SQL course after just a few weeks and complete a CAS in Requirements Engineering at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences after only one year of employment, which has greatly benefited her daily work.
- In her free time, Nadine prefers to spend time in nature, especially in the mountains, whether biking or hiking in summer or cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in winter. Additionally, she has been actively playing volleyball in a club for nearly 20 years and was also involved as a coach and on the board for a long time. When time and circumstances allow, she enjoys discovering new places somewhere in the world and is currently planning a trip to southern Africa.
