Floor Housekeeper (100%)

Profile:

The person we are looking for is responsible for the organisation and operational coordination of all hotel activities on the floors for inpatients.

They ensure control and quality of the services provided, guaranteeing compliance with procedures, quality standards and directives.

They perform their role by collaborating directly with the nursing service and the hotel service, particularly catering and domestic economy, contributing to creating a tidy, well-kept and comfortable environment.

They are the guarantor of a culture of hospitality, attention to detail and comfort in the hospital hotel environment.

They know how to work independently and in a team, fostering close interdisciplinary collaboration with the various professional figures within the hospital, in order to guarantee a coordinated, efficient service oriented to patients’ needs. The ideal candidate is a professional who inspires trust, is proactive and knows how to find appropriate solutions by facing and managing complex situations.

They listen attentively to their interlocutors, establishing constructive and effective relationships inside and outside the hospital, based on respect and trust. They coordinate multiple activities simultaneously, setting priorities and organising time effectively, remaining calm even under stress.

Necessary requirements:

• Federal professional certificate as head of the hotel/domestic economy sector, equivalent qualification or federal certificate as domestic economy employee;
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role in the social-health or hospital sector;
• Certificate as apprentice trainer;
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
• Proficiency in main IT tools;
• Knowledge of Italian; knowledge of German is a preferred qualification.
