Legal Counsel (m/f/d) 100%

who is passionate about complex industrial projects and wishes to contribute their potential as an important member of the Group Legal Department in the areas of contract law (with a focus on plant projects) and insurance law. The position requires a high degree of independence and includes responsibility for contract negotiations with national and international business partners as well as risk management at group level. You have an interest in the industrial and construction project sector and appreciate working with contacts from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Your tasks

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a variety of contracts and commercial documents (works supply contracts, licence agreements, supplier contracts, etc.)
• Proactive and effective advice to corporate functions and subsidiaries on insurance law and insurance technical matters
• Leading negotiations with external business partners (national and international)
• Professional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, with the sales department being an important stakeholder in particular.
• Development and implementation of strategic initiatives of the Group Legal Department in the area of risk management

Your profile

• Law degree with a Master of Law or lic. iur. qualification
• Swiss bar admission preferred but not mandatory
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a corporate lawyer or in a law firm focusing on contract law, ideally related to industry, plant or construction project business
• Enjoyment of international and interdisciplinary teamwork, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexible, organised, efficient and precise in work.
• Strong negotiation skills
• High degree of independence and resilience
• Pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
