Your mission:
You ensure the realisation of study and renewal projects, as well as expert assessments in the field of large rotating machines and their voltage regulation. You guarantee the engineering for the maintenance of alternators and motors in hydroelectric facilities. You also participate in the commissioning of hydroelectric facilities as commissioning coordinator.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and carry out complete and complex projects in the field of rotating machines from the preliminary phase to the operational phase
- Propose and implement technical improvements to optimise the operation of the installations
- Provide technical support to maintenance managers of various hydroelectric facilities
- Establish and update maintenance and investment plans
- Prepare technical offers and establish budgets
- Organise and coordinate construction sites and carry out the commissioning of rotating machines
- Perform diagnostic measurements of electrical machines
- Carry out engineering and commissioning of voltage regulation systems
- Keep the technical documentation of the facilities up to date
Your skills:
- EPFL or HES engineer in electrical engineering, preferably with experience
- Knowledge of rotating electrical machines and/or voltage regulation systems
- Experience in conducting studies, acquiring electrical components and commissioning them would be an advantage
- Organisational and decision-making skills necessary for the simultaneous management of several projects
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team
- Native French or German speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
