Clinical Neurosciences Bern (CNB)
Start of employment: from 01.11.2025 or by arrangement
Workplace: Official workplace is Bern; the activity can be carried out predominantly in the home office (30% workload, flexibly divisible)
The Clinical Neurosciences Bern (CNB) represent an interdisciplinary alliance of the University of Bern, the Inselspital and the UPD. With 75 different research groups, promotion of junior research as well as the implementation of various events such as the Annual Meeting or Brain Week Bern, the CNB represents an important platform for the neurosciences.
Areas of responsibility
As a scientific assistant, you primarily support the president of the CNB (Prof. Dr. med. Mirjam Heldner) and the CNB board. Further tasks include:
- Planning, organizing events (Annual Meeting, Brain Week, Poster Session etc.)
- Acquiring sponsors
- Managing and updating the CNB homepage and various social media platforms
- Creating the CNB newsletter (twice a year)
- Main contact point for email communication internally & externally
Profile/Requirements
- Member/enrolled at the University of Bern
- Friendly and well-groomed manner
- Communicative and team-oriented
- Good organizational & planning skills
- Good English skills
