Embark on an exciting journey into the world of Knie Children's Zoos in Rapperswil! With around 350 animals, facilities focused on biodiversity, various attractions, Knie's Malstrasse, two restaurants, and the event location «Knie's Magic Hat», we offer a lot of variety and a unique working environment. As part of our team in the restaurants and souvenir shop, you are the host for adventures and unforgettable experiences.
As part of our team, you are the host for adventures and unforgettable experiences – whether operating the cash register, in service, in the kitchen, or in the souvenir shop. You ensure that our young and old guests feel completely welcome.
To expand our gastronomy team, we are looking for you from February to October 2026 as:
Temporary Allrounder Gastronomy & Souvenir (m/f/d)
February – October 2026 (hourly wage)
Your tasks – versatile and exciting:
Gastronomy & Service
• Working at the restaurant cash register
• Support at the buffet, service, and kitchen area
• Working at the hot dog stand
Souvenir & Events
• Independent management of the souvenir shop
• Co-organization and execution of children's birthday parties
Guest care & order
• Friendly reception and care of our guests
• Support with clearing and cleaning tasks
• Daily preparation of our popular Giraffe Lodge
You fit with us if you:
• Have some experience in gastronomy (not mandatory!)
• Speak German – additional languages are a plus
• Enjoy working on weekends and public holidays
• Are flexible, reliable, and resilient
• Enjoy interacting with people from all over the world
• Have a neat appearance and good manners
