About the job
We are looking for you as a new member of our election office – we offer an exciting & meaningful activity
For the term 2026-2030, we are seeking committed individuals for the election office service who work focused, precisely and efficiently, have an interest in the correct conduct of elections and votes, and are willing to participate on the pre-determined voting and election Sundays. Any eligible voter with a political residence in Adliswil can be elected.
Your main tasks include counting ballot papers, supervising the personal casting of votes at the ballot box on election and voting Sundays, and ensuring a correct and transparent process. No prior knowledge is required, as we will carefully introduce you to your tasks. Members of the election office perform either ballot box or counting duties depending on the deployment plan.
The time commitment usually includes four regular voting Sundays per year, with each deployment lasting around six hours. Occasionally, additional deployments take place on Saturdays in connection with larger elections. The current remuneration is CHF 37.25 per hour.

Registration is considered an expression of interest and does not automatically lead to election as an election office member. The 39 election office members will be elected by the city council at the meeting on 7 July 2026. The next ballot and thus your first deployment will take place on Sunday, 27 September 2026.
