About the job
Steinhölzli Educational Pathways offers young adults with special structural needs training and support in vocational and social integration. We are looking for 1 September or by arrangement
- Several years of proven professional experience in the field of job search/job placement/integration management
- (Tertiary degree in social work,)
- (Further training) Completed basic training and further education as a job coach* according to Supported Education / Supported Employment)
- Good knowledge of social insurance and labour law
- Good understanding of health-related limitations and their possible impact on employment
- Committed personality with strong social, counselling and acquisition skills
- High self-management and communication skills
- Experience in the private sector and good knowledge of the current labour market
- Confident use of IT tools
- Driving licence category B
Tasks:
- Support, accompany and advise young people and young adults according to the principles of Supported Education / Employment during training
- Organisation, supervision and evaluation of external internships in the general labour market
- Acquisition of internship and job positions
- Comprehensive support of learners in job search and placement in the general labour market
- Accompanying persons with limitations in the general labour market as a job coach*
- Exchange with referring agencies, legal representatives and external specialists
- Contacts with external companies and acquisition of internship places in the regional labour market
- Internal progress documentation and reporting for the IV or other referring agencies
- Support of young people in the practical vocational maturity year in getting to know different professions (including internship experiences)
