Residence Mandement is a medico-social establishment that accommodates 45 residents of AVS age.
Our mission
Our mission is to animate and develop a living space and provide services that meet the needs and aspirations of residents and their relatives while respecting the standards, norms, and ethics prevailing in the field.
Residence Mandement is looking for a nurse on a fixed-term contract at 70% for maternity leave replacement from 01.05.2026 to 30.01.2027
Job description
We offer a rewarding experience within a passionate and committed multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for:
- Providing quality care adapted to the needs of residents, respecting their dignity and well-being
- Assisting residents in their daily activities (toileting, meals, mobility)
- Participating in monitoring the health status of residents and reporting any relevant observations to the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborating closely with the care team and contributing to a safe, warm, and welcoming environment
- Respecting hygiene rules and institutional protocols
- As a qualified nurse, you autonomously and/or under medical delegation provide personalized, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative nursing care to residents facing psychiatric and somatic problems
- Defining care strategies, establishing care plans, providing nursing care, and keeping care records up to date
- Ensuring continuity of care: performing, delegating, controlling, transmitting.
- Developing a global vision of work distribution and making daily adjustments
- Participating in the reception and supervision of students, apprentices, and new collaborators in your sector
- Collaborating and participating in personalized support projects for residents with an interdisciplinary vision
- Ensuring precise and rigorous information transmission between teams and to doctors
- Managing the use of premises, equipment, supplies, and care materials provided
Profile sought
- Experience in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics or a similar setting
- Knowledge of the DIR software from Sadies (an asset)
- Excellent level of French in writing and speaking
- Empathy, patience, and kindness
- Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to communicate clearly, precisely, and appropriately with the interlocutor
- Adaptability and team spirit while being autonomous and organized
- Positive and able to demonstrate collaborative leadership
- Having a strong sense of rigor and responsibility
- Capable of managing priorities, taking initiatives, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Having a strong interest in elderly people with cognitive disorders
- Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
